Alabama (more snow) and the Rodeo!!!

I have to say it.....I'm sick of snow!!!! It was fun the first two times, but the next three or four I'm kinda tired of it. I've probably expressed that more in front of my children than I should because one morning Logan walked up to his bedroom window, pointed his finger out the window and said "go way snow!!"

A few weeks ago the kids and I packed our bags and headed to Alabama. We left on a Thursday with the intent on coming home Monday....we got stuck because of SNOW!!!! We woke up Monday morning to huge snowflakes falling on the ground and covering everything fast. We were excited for an extra day with Noni and Papa, but we were not prepared to "play" in the snow. We made due and the kids had so much fun!!!
Thanks to Uncle Kyle the kids got to experience their first rodeo. They went in style....we found Blair a "cowgirl" shirt (or close enough) at Target and braided her hair. She wore her cowgirl boots and was ready. Logan wore his plaid shirt (cowboy lookin, I guess) and of course wouldn't leave home without his boots. They came home with more than they left with....two black hats, a sherriff's badge and a gun. Uncle Kyle sure can spoil these two. They had the best time and are begging to go back. Kyle said Logan was mezmorized and Blair had about 2000 questions! hahaha! Thanks Uncle Kyle for a new "first!"

SNOW!!!......again

We got about 7 inches of snow last Saturday morning. The kids were so excited to wake up to snow! We bundled up the kids (three pairs of shirts, three pairs of pants, three pairs of socks...you get the idea) and headed out to play. Blair enjoyed just sitting in the snow, but Logan wanted someone to hold his hand most of the time. He had a hard time walking through the snow without falling...it was pretty funny! Mimi and Pap showed up with a "sled." It was a man hole cover from Dad's work. It worked perfectly! It was a FUN day!!!
