Logan's 2nd Birthday!

Logan's 2nd birthday party was so much fun. He asked all week after every nap if it was party time. When the day finally came he sang happy birthday to himself all day! If you asked him who was having a party he would say ME!
The sweet boy LOVES balloons. I waited until the day of his party to get a whole bunch. He carried them around everywhere. Only to put it down to open his presents.
Logan recently has fallen in love with trains. Finally he has found something to be intrested in, other than his sisters baby dolls (his Daddy is thrilled)! So of course the whole family pitched in and bought him a train table and a ton of accessories to go with it. He plays with it off and on all day.

At Blair's 2nd birthday party after every present she would say "Thank you, I love it." It was so precious. Everyone who came to her birthday party remembers her doing that so I thought it would be special for Logan to do the same. ha ha ha! He is such a ham. He did pretty good (with lots of reminding) but being silly Logan he put his own special twist on saying it. Here's the video Jared got of him after opening his presents. He says "I love it, I love you and thank you."

It makes me so sad to think the next birthday he'll be THREE! I don't know where the time has gone. He is such a wonderful and loving little boy. We are truely blessed!

Snow Day!!!!!

The kids were so excited to wake up and see WHITE covering the ground. It was Logan's first snow (or so he thought). We layered the kids up and put on their boots. Of course it wasn't their snow boots, but their cowboy and cowgirl boots. They were insistant on wearing them in the snow. Logan was unsure at first, but it only took a second before he was trying to make a snow angel and throw a snow ball at his sister.
What a fun day!!!

Happy Birthday, Logan!

Two years ago today the sweetest boy was born. The Lord knew exactly what he was doing when he blessed our family with Logan. We can't seem to get enough of his sweet smile and his fun-loving personality.

A few things we love about Logan:

1. Logan loves to give kisses. At the most random times of the day he will come up to me with his lips puckered and say,"Momma kiss." When he was a little bit smaller and we would be checking out at a store (especially Wal-Mart) he would pucker his lips at the man or woman helping us and say, "kiss!"

2. Logan loves to make anyone laugh. If he realizes that whatever he's doing is making you laugh he will not stop until you ask him to.

3. Logan likes to play with baby dolls. Most of the time it's the first toy he runs for in the morning. He especially loves to play dolls with his big sister. I assure Logan's daddy that it's making and preparing Logan to be an excellent father some day! =)

4. Logan loves his pacifiers. He is only allowed to have them when he sleeps and during church to keep him quite. When he wakes up in the morning or from a nap he has to drop his pacifier in his bed. One afternoon I noticed the toliet wand cleaning stick laying in the middle of Logan's bedroom floor. I had no idea why it was there. I didn't make a big thing about it, just put it up. Well, the wand kept showing up in the middle of Logan's bedroom floor at least once a day. One afternoon I was doing something in the kitchen and I kept hearing something going on in Logan's room. I peered around the corner to find Logan sticking the toilet wand through the railings of his crib to help reach his pacifiers. He was using the toliet wand to get his pacifiers out of the crib. All of you reading this say how smart my oldest is, but I think Logan is too, he's just so much quiter about it. ha ha ha!Happy Birthday, Logan!

We love you very very much!
