Weekend In Alabama

Last Friday we went to visit Jared's parents for the weekend. It was actually the weekend I was participating (and of course shopping) in the annual "wee swap" consignment sale. I had stuff from when Blair was a baby to sell. Clothes, shoes, toys, swings, etc. Because I was a consignor, Jared's Mom and I got to shop early. We went Friday night right as the doors were opening and we were there for 3 hours. It was crowded and full of everything you could possibly want. I spent $48, but got some GREAT deals. I got the cutest gray New Balance shoes for Logan that were $8. They are in perfect condition and look like they've never been worn. The sale continues this week and you will be notified about your items that sold and how much money you'll recieve. I'm hoping that I did well, we'll see.

While we were in Alabama we took the kids to see UNA and Leo, the lions at the University there in Florence. Blair had been before, but this was Logan's first time. One of the animals he has been able to immitate since he was 10 months is a lion. The whole time we were there he had his face aganist the glass roaring like a lion. It was hallarious. So of course I took a few pictures and a video.

Then we took the kids to the Children's Museum. Blair loved it. Logan ran around looking for something to get into. Everyone had a good time.

Now it's back to lots of laundry and a busy week! And trying to figure this new blog out!!! =)
