Weekend with Noni and Papa!

Jared's parents came for the weekend. We had a wonderful time as always! They hadn't been to our house since Logan's birthday, so Blair was so excited they were coming. But of course whenever we are expecting company or going out-of-town one of my kids always gets sick. This time it was BOTH. They started running a fever on Tuesday morning, so I took both of them to the doctor on Wednesday. Both of them had hand, foot and mouth disease. It was rough for a few days, but today they are feeling much better.
On Friday Noni and I took the kids to Jackson's Orchard. They were so excited to get out of the house and run outside.

Of course since Noni and Papa were coming, Blair wanted to take them to see the HotRods baseball game. Blair was prepared with her tee-shirt and hat. Normally she eats a whole bag of peanuts by herself, but since her mouth was sore, she decided not too. But, she did of course sing "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" at the seventh inning strech.

Saturday morning we took the kids to the park to feed the ducks and play for awhile. Logan is so funny trying to throw this bread. He throws chunks instead of pieces and his chunks never quite make it in the water.

My kids love to play at the park. It always takes Blair a minute or two to get warmed up, but Logan is prepared at all times. He loves ALL the slides...big and small.

Then after some lunch at a delicious Mexican resturant here in town we went and took a few pictures at the "wildlife overlook" in our neighboorhood.

Such a fun weekend!!!!! Now we are on the count down to September when we leave for Florida and take the kids to Disney World. I'm not sure whose more excited, me or the kids.
